Nathan Kremer, Principal

Nathan Kremer is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Harmony Elementary community. Harmony is home to a dedicated team of educators who work hard to create a safe, caring and engaging learning environment. Combined with a strong community of students and families, Harmony Elementary is a place where students thrive.

Each year, the staff focuses on helping students live out the core values of being kind, safe and engaged throughout the school. Teachers design meaningful, hands-on lessons with a focus on helping every student grow both academically and personally.

Kremer is entering their ninth year as a school administrator. Before joining Blue Valley, they served as an elementary principal and middle school assistant principal in Olathe and De Soto. Prior to administration, they spent 12 years teaching in the Minneapolis area.

Kremer's spouse is a band teacher at Harmony Middle School, and they have three daughters attending school in the Blue Valley School District.

Mrs. Alicia Anderson, Assistant Principal

Alicia Anderson serves as assistant principal at Harmony Elementary. She brings two decades of experience in education, including roles as a classroom teacher, math specialist, instructional coach, innovation specialist and administrative intern.

Anderson began her teaching career in Blue Valley Schools in 2001 before moving to Tennessee, where she taught second through fourth grades in Memphis City Schools. Returning to the Kansas City area in 2012, she expanded her focus beyond the classroom by working in the Shawnee Mission School District in various instructional and leadership roles. She joined Blue Valley Schools as assistant principal at Overland Trail Elementary before assuming her current role at Harmony Elementary in 2026.

A native of Olathe, Kansas, Anderson graduated from Olathe North High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from MidAmerica Nazarene University, a Master of Education from Walden University and an administration certificate from Pittsburg State University. She lives in Olathe with her husband, Keith, and their adult children, Allison and Brandyn.

Outside of work, Anderson enjoys spending time with family, running, gardening and singing. She is committed to fostering positive relationships within the school community and supporting student achievement and growth at Harmony Elementary.
